Henrikke Svane

Henrikke Tollnes Svane (17.11.1994) is a painter and an installation artist shown nationally and internationally. Her artistic practice is built around her natural gravitation towards the sea, presented through fragile, transient installations withholding personal monologues and written poems.

Henrikke's passion for the communication between ocean and land is evident in her numerous performances, which exemplify her unwavering desire to bring the sea home. Her research is a constant source of inspiration, fueling an artistic practice that mirrors the ever-changing nature of the sea.

She has participated in eight group exhibitions, curated five shows, and completed four years of Visual Arts study. Her installation «Bringing Sea Home» is permanently installed at The Marine Station in Plymouth, and her digital art gallery Svane Studio (2018) continues to grow with thriving artists. Henrikke will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Fine Art in the Summer of 2025.
